Ad Hoc Potato Pave Recipe

I’ve already sung my praises for potatoes in my Potatoes & Clams in Bacon Dashi post, but I’d like to say it again: I love potatoes. Chang has potatoes in three of his recipes, but sometimes a girl just craves a comfort food kind of potato dish and there’s no better place to look for comfort food than Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc at Home cookbook.

Copycat Momofuku Milk Bar Cornflake, Chocolate Chip, Marshmallow Cookie Recipe

Mike has a cookie addiction. Not a full-out blue furry monster one, but it’s something we live with. There are never cookies in this house because they get eaten instantly. Usually I combat this by keeping cookie dough in the fridge that I bake off every so often. That way, fresh cookies are only ever 15-20 minutes away.

When I heard about Momofuku Milk Bar’s cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow cookie I knew I had to figure out a way to make them. I’ve never tasted the original cookie before, but these ones disappeared almost instantly, so I know they’re good.

Ad Hoc Buttermilk Fried Chicken Recipe

nothing beats fried chicken and waffles!

My love for fried chicken, much like my love for noodles, is not very discerning. I can definitely tell the difference between good and bad noodles and chicken, but my love is so all-encompassing that I can forgive faults easily. With so many kinds of fried chicken in the world, how would I be able to tell good from bad if I didn’t try them all?
