I confess: I eat Chicken McNuggets with smiling faces and I love doing it! The real question is: do the faces make you want to eat Chicken McNuggets anymore than you normally do?

  1. What the…? How do they get faces?

    They do still look delicious.

I would like to know too :P

  2. Not at all. After seeing Food, Inc., I vowed to never eat a McNugget again. 37 ingredients in a nugget? How is that OK or possible? I eat a lot of crap, and will continue to do so, I’m sure, but not this one, even if it is cute.

  3. Sorry, my bad, I’m mixing two things I have seen/read with “food” in the title. This shows that sometimes too much information can be confusing. The McNugget thing comes from a Michael Pollan book, Food Matters, I think.

  4. I have the good fortune to live in the land of Ludo, whose chicken nuggets would be delicious with a scowl!

BTW, really dug the posts from your LA/OC trip. You hit a lot of great spots!

  5. Do McNuggets have souls? If the faces mean they have souls, then I’m going to need a beer and some mustard sauce. Otherwise barbeque sauce is fine.

  6. Now you’ve done it. You said the magic word “McNugget”. Don’t worry, we did too –

Now you gotta prove your foodie prowice: What is your favorite sauce?

  7. Gah! It’s too, too cute to eat now! Love your blog btw!

  8. ketchup and mayo, plus youghurt, musard, salt, sugar and pepper

  9. oh wow.
old post, i know, but not only did i see food inc. (amongst other food industry documentaries), but i’ve been a vegetarian for six years, vegan for 2, AND i worked at mcdonald’s.

so yes, the faces totally make them look delicious and i would devour them in a kawaii heartbeat.
