  2. Looks like a great day of food! If you’re near Doughnut Plant again, there’s a bakery just next door called Kossar’s. It’s the only place left to get a true bialy (Polish onion roll – like a bagel but not boiled).

Mimi Sheraton wrote this about them: http://www.amazon.com/Bialy-Eaters-Mimi-Sheraton/dp/0767910559/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1276278034&sr=8-1

Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to try them the next time I’m in NYC.

  3. That crack pie is getting a lot of press lately. I must have it. And if I can’t, I must make it.

Really enjoying your blog. Making Momofuku’s pork buns for dinner tonight. Pork belly’s on low heat as I type.

    Enjoy NYC!

    Thanks!

    Hope your buns turned out!

  4. Seriously? All in one day?
Hope you wore some elastic pants.

Heehee, like Lady Gaga, I don’t wear pants!

  5. I’m weirdly thrilled that you got the crème brûlée doughnut! It’s the best.

It was the best! I tried to go back on my last day to have another one, but of course, it was a Monday and they were closed!
