Introducing Leftover Fridays
The thrill of Fridays are an unadulterated source of joy in my life. Other sources include: noodles, fried chicken, things that make me laugh and food blogs. Leftover Fridays will be a mash-up of food blogs and things that make me chuckle. If there was someway to transport noodles and fried chicken through a screen, I’d do that too, but until then, let’s stick with some blog love, humour and some good old fashioned food porn.
Google Searches: Have you ever been in the middle of a Google search when Google suggests something totally hilarious and off base? Type in something random and see what kind of real-time suggestion you get. These Google searches are real! Sometimes, just for kicks, I check out which Google searches are bringing people to Momofuku for 2.
Are you allowed to drink cooking sake?
Yes, you can, but I don’t think you want to.
Can you imagine frozen pork buns at Costco? Just steam and serve!

He’s all over the net and it’s thanks to him that I can’t stop thinking about waffles. You might know him: he’s the waffleizer. Thirty answers to will it waffle is his blog in a nutshell, but his blog is so much more than Belgian and Leige waffles, it’s bibimbap, burgers, and bread pudding. The man has me constantly thinking: will it waffle? The answer, according to Dan, “yes, it waffles!”
