Who else got the Momofuku Cookbook for Christmas?

Momofuku was in Amazon.com’s overall top ten sold this holiday season. So my question is, who else got the Momofuku Cookbook this Christmas?

  1. Hey from Sydney! I just found your blog and jinx, we’re doing the same challenge! Although you’re way ahead :-) I actually got the cookbook at a B&N event in NY in November where Tony Bourdain was interviewing David and Pete, so good.

Love your work and happy Momofukuing!

Hey from Vancouver! I just checked out your site and I feel like we totally have the same philosophy about cooking the book and Momofuku in general. I added you to my blogroll. So jealous that you got to meet David! Did he sign your book? Happy Momofukuing to you too!

  2. Haha, I also just found your site and was thinking of doing the same thing! My wonderful boyfriend got the book for me (along with a bottle of truffle oil!) for Christmas, and has promised to help me cook my way through it. I’m definitely going to be watching your blog for inspiration and motivation!

    Hi Cara,
I think you and your boyfriend should totally cook your way through the book! At least your boyfriend promised to help! My husband only promised to eat…When you end up cooking something, send some pictures my way!

  3. Great looking site…glad someone is actually doing the thing that so many people were considering. Wait til you get to the pickled mustard seeds, fish sauce vinaigrette, roasted brussels sprouts, etc. I haven’t found a bum recipe yet. Go, go, go!

    Hi Mark,
Thanks for visiting! So far I haven’t found a bum recipe yet either, but I’m not too sure about the brussels sprouts…I guess we’ll see! :P

  4. Just found your blog! Brilliant! Love it :) I got my book during Christmas and have so far cooked the ginger & scallions noodle and their fried chicken. Absolutely loving the cookbook.

    Hi Ellie,
I love the cookbook too! Checked out your site and love your photos of the fried chicken!

  5. Just found your site today and I also got the book for xmas.

I am wimp though, I deemed most of these dishes impossible in my small nyc kitchen, but maybe you will change my mind.

    Steve,
I hope you give some of the recipes a try, they really are good! Give the tomato salad a try, it was pretty simple and sooooooo good!
